ID verification is necessary to receive award payments at Conyac. Since we operate in Japan,
we must also record your My Number when preparing payment records and reporting to the tax authorities. (Submission of your My Number applies only to residents in Japan.)

Merits of ID Verification
Having your ID verified raises your credibility, and will make clients feel more comfortable to
rely on you for a job/project.
(Once you finish your ID Verification, it shows up as "Verified" on your profile page.)
Why we need your My Number (for residents in Japan)
Your My Number is needed since the withholding tax will be subtracted from your payment.
ID verification is all done on-line, so there is no need to send any documents by mail.
The process usually takes about 4 to 5 business days, but it may take longer depending on the
number of applicants.
Please scan or photograph the necessary documents, and upload them in one of the following
formats: jpg, jpeg, pdf, gif, png
(*Any information on your My Number will be strictly confidential and will only be used for
tax purposes.)

Important Points
If there are missing documents, we ask for the resubmission of the registration application.
Please see the following examples of resubmission cases.
Inadequate Photo: If the photo is unclear, too reflective, difficult to read, we ask for resubmission.
Also, it is not acceptable if part of the document is missing, or if the photo is cropped.
Unmatched information: We ask for resubmission if the information on the ID, such as the address, is not updated and does not match with the information on the registration application. Also, when the language on the ID does not match the language used on the registration application (especially the name and the address), we ask for resubmission.
